Light spotting?

I was on depo provera for 6months.i was due for another in october but got married decided against it. My period hasnt returned but i have light spotting. What could this be?

This light spotting could still be as a result of your body trying to adjust to being off the Depo-Provera. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
