The man shot 2 burglers that broke into his neighbors home. This man deserves a medal, but i can already hear the liberals whining about excessive force, and gun control. Why would ANYONE not think this man is a hero?

I would of done the same thing. Just like a guy breaking into someones house and a dog attacking them and then the cops say the dog shouldnt be biting people. Well why is the idiot breaking into peoples house to begin with? I sure hope I have a neighbor like him someday. Theres no reason why they should be in other peoples homes trying to steal stuff.

I'd buy that man a meal if I knew him.

If you think anyone with a gun has the right to summarily execute anyone else they don't like, agree with or are afraid of then fine.

Just don't come whining when someone tracks you down from hundreds of miles away and claims "self-defense."

He's not a hero. The police were called, they were on their way, and no one was in danger. If you picked up a piece of my stereo equipment, and dropped it, would that give me the right to shoot you down in cold blood? You are essentially saying this person is brave and courageous for shooting down people over someone's personal possessions. That's not his choice to make, and he has no right to do so. We have laws, and those laws don't allow people to act as he did.

He is not a hero--he is a cold-bloded murderer. It is as simple as that.

Here is why: this man was not in danger of his life--nor were his neighbors. Law enfrocement--in the personof the 9/11 operator--had specifically instructed him to stay out of it. There wass no valid reason for him to use lethal force.

Further, in any such situation, the law requires tat non-lethal force be sued if possible. In addition to the fact that it was clearly NOT necessary in this case. Further, by his own statement, this jerk had decided to kill the burglers before he everr stepped outside. That makes it premeditated murder.

There is NOTHING wrong with using resonable force todefend oneself--or ones neighbors--or property. Up to and including lethal force--when it is necessary. No such necessity existed in this case.

I could hve been handled much differently. He wasn't in danger according to the reports I have heard, he should have waited for police. In tExas a man and his wife shot someone breaking into their car from the balcony of their apartment. Go figure. guy sounded excited and ended in this. What were they taking, you now. Take care.
