Well if you’re referring to 1v1 style of pvp then I would say warrior decked out in pvp gear, Warlock, or rogue. Otherwise in Arena the most sought after classes are Druid, warrior, and Paladin. Druids are great in Arena because of their ability to remove poisons and cruses and also their Heal of Time spells. Paladins are a pain to kill; can heal exceptionally well and can also remove most magical effects that impair players. Warlocks are great because the can fear their opponents, do tons of damage and also tend to have a high number of health points making them harder to kill, not to mention they have a pet that’s beating on you the whole time. Rogues are also very very good in 1v1 pvp. They can cc, dot, and quickly damage and of things go bad for a rogue they can vanish from combat making them invisible.
So to break it down…
Warrior – A warrior with a high resilience can be a very tough opponent to kill. They can overcome most abilities that impair their movement making them hard to get away from. They can stun and interrupt spells. They have a very high Armor Rating making them hard to melee against and also tend to have the highest health of any other class and to top it off they can dish out a substantial amount of damage. 1v1 a properly geared warrior is a nightmare to deal with.
Rogue – Rogues are masters at locking an opponent down with their sap, kidney shot, gouge, blind…etc. They have the ability to control a situation to their advantage and do TONS of damage very quickly on top of it. I’ve been taken out by rogues in a matter of seconds before. A high resilience rating will help immensely against a rogue.
Warlocks – Warlocks are just plain brutal. They can throw on a bunch of dots, fear, send in their pet and before you have a chance to return to the fight you’re dead. When I’m fighting in BG and I see a Warlock, if I’m alone, I run…. Plain and simple. You do NOT want to fight a warlock alone if you can help it. They will tear you a new one before you can even get near them.
Druids – Druids are a very versatile class. They can heal, dot, cc, and melee depending on spec and gear of course. In my opinion they are more of a support class though. Feral druids are very good at pvp because they can dish out a lot of melee damage take a lot of damage and then heal themselves if they need to. As healers they one of the best classes in Arena. As Moonkin (Balance spec) they are just plain funny looking and that’s about it in my opinion. (I play one btw)
Paladins are another great support class in Arena. A lot of great utility spells that can quickly turn the tides of battle make them, like the druid, very sought after in Arena groups.
I hope that helps.

WOW PVP is liek a game of rock paper scizors.
Rock = Warrior, bear druid
Scizors= Rogue
Paper= mage, lock, preist, resto/balance druid
that is until lvl 40 when rock turns into a monster and melts the scizors and burns the paper.
for a new player i would sugest a rogue/hunter they are both really good at pvp and relitivly easy to play
also being a rogue having 2 farming proffesions will be easy for you
i suggest mining and skinning
ALWAYS learn first aid when ANY class
even if you choose preist still get first aid.
Go to www.worldofwarcraft.com
.and play around in the armoury you can find the class you want to play that way.

The best class for pvp, if you know how to use it, is the priest... Shadow priest. If you are looking for an easy class, this is not it, the runner up for begginers would have to be the rogue, they have many stun and slow abilities that you almost are able to kill your apponent w/o even getting hit. I would suggest starting with a rogue, then if you get the hang of the rogue well enough, try the priest, they are a tough but fun class. =D enjoy

Warlocks or hunters are best for world PvP. For battlegrounds, dps warriors or rogues are best. For arena, any class because it's based on combination of classes and how well they play them.
I'm a warlock and have no problems owning other classes in world PvP. If you played a lock, you would own your friends. Unless they have a lock :)

Any class can be good if you know how to play it. Find one you're good at, get better, get good gear, and pwn.
I would say rogue or mage, maybe a warlock or shadow priest. It's all about keeping your opponent stunned or feared so they can't hit you while you attack them.

Warlock, Rogue and BM hunter. I play a warlock and purely geared rogues and warriors provide me issues. yet I nevertheless beat them 0.5 the time. Casters can forget approximately approximately even attempting to conquer me no count how geared they are, different than according to threat different the two experienced/geared locks. Rogues piss me off greater suitable than something. a stable s3 rogue will sap, stunlock, poison and backstab me right down to twenty% wellbeing in the previous i will even get a dot on him. Then once I get unfastened he hits CloS an is thoroughly proof against each little thing till I die. i've got been leveling a rogue myself. great type in case you opt for to be sneaky. I also have a working techniques-set for hunters, yet they do provide quite a few human beings difficulty while they are BM specced. at times I come accross one that barley kills me, yet they frequently have often s3. Druids are a great type for arenas, yet no longer lots for solo PvP. they have no threat of killing me a million on a million, in spite of the shown fact that it takes me like a million/2 hour to kill them at times. they in simple terms run around attempting to stay out of view on an identical time as throwing heals. I in simple terms get aggravated and enable them to flow at times. so some distance as different warlocks, i will kill them one hundred% of the time in the event that they at the instant are not sl/sl and rolling with their felhunter (and comprehend the thank you to apply it). in spite of the shown fact that, some week in the past I got here upon a destro lock that burned me down in like 4 seconds with no longer something yet fireplace spells. i replaced into speechless.
