Salaam Alaykum,
Decades of the United States bombing and creating long term civil war between Iraq and Iran. Supporting Israel with money to genocide the Palestinian. A Saudi Arabian influence like Osama Bin Laden a fromer ally of the USA when he was fighting the Russians in the Kabul Wars in Afghanistan...who was angered when in the first Gulf war of
1991 when Saddam invaded Kuwait he asked The Government of Saudi Arabian's to fight and force Saddam back out of Kuwait. He was denied and was told that Saudi Arabia would be using the United States. He was outraged not only at the United States but Saudi Arabia as well for not picking his Kabul fighters that beat the Russians and picked infedels to fight their war. He and his partner Dr. Zawihili whom was responsible for the assasination of Anwar Sadat.
Assumably put this operation into place...however there are still many unanswered questions as how this kind of operation was carried out. The attacks were already written in a FBI statement that never got to the White House.
Wasalaam

Culture Clash!

With the proliferation of the internet, 24hr. news coverage - the aspects of TIME and EXCHANGE OF IDEAS has compressed more in the past decade than in all historical time before.

This, plus the retail marketing and black marketing of US and Western Goods to the Arab nations has created resentment and fear among some factions of Arabs where they feel their Religion and Culture are at risk of becoming WESTERNIZED or AMERICANIZED.

This perceived threat on the part of some Arabs has created a retaliatory reaction.

It is the goal of some of these Arab factions to bring America to its "economic knees".

If they can create fear, disruption and economic disparity in Americans and subsequently lack of confidence in its Government - then these Arab factions have a foothold to move to America like locusts.

Imagine if they were successful in many 911's, Americans lost faith in Govt. and nothing was done to control the borders.

We would have all churches in US. converted to Mosque. Customs would be all Arab. There would be no law and order as we know it. No constitution, No rights, No nothing - the way we know it.

That is why it is so critically important to understand that we need to defend and even pre-empt war against our enemies.

This is not like WWII, or any other war in history.
But that is another subject.

It came from pure 'jealousy' of our way of life(to be free, the way American women are allowed to carry themselves, religious purposes) and they were very jealous that we were trying to involve that type of life on their country. We, as a people, should not have done that,to begin with. And look at the price that was payed for it? Now, it will never end. This will carry on for many generations. Really sad. But, we are in this and have to see it through. What other alternative is there, to keep our face?

(1) America's involvement with Israel
(2) Anti-Americanism throughout the region and much of the world (except when it comes to aid and hand outs).
(3) The spread of radical Islam. These dangerous groups and governments that support this sick ideology, will not settle until the whole world is under their particular sect of radical Islam.

This is more of an opinion question but heres what I believe. Islamic/Arab extremist believe so strongly in the Quran(thier bible) that they commit acts of violence like 9/11. I have served in Iraq, and know that the extremists will do anything to get there way. They hate Americans and our way of life.

Everyone has an opinion on this one. I was there that day and watched the towers fall. I narrowly got outta there with my life and lost dozens of friends.

It was an inside job. It was TOO perfect, too neat and tidy... and when they started making evidence "disappear" (recycling the steel, for example) - that was what convinced me there was something to hide.

Well I guess that depends who youre willing to believe and what factors you take into consideration. Its important to look at the following:
A)The american government trained the taliban in the first place.
B)The american government gave financial aid to taliban ruled afghanistan.
C)The taliban are nut job muslims.
D)The twin towers were a big symbol of american capitalism and the pentagon a big symbol of US military might.
E)The security on all airline flights is horribly lax.

It would take too much time to explain.

It's a lethal mixture of misguided religious extremism and intolerance or one side and an utterly botched foreign policy on the other.
