I'm sure they get intimidated by their employees when they know they did something wrong and the employee could go to hr or the boss's superior. This only works if it is a big enough company. I'm also positive if the boss has a lot of people quitting faster than the boss can hire and train new workers I'm sure the boss would be nice because they don't want anymore people quitting

Well you should know that when you go into an interviewer they are more intimidated by you then you are by them and yes it seems that some folks have this presence about them the way they walk the way they talk and the way they present themselves you should be thank full that you have a presence that strong that means you are very confidant about yourself and that is a good thing and you should not shy away from that. be glad and be proud that is a good thing if it comes out as a problem just to make them feel good tell them that you are a bit nervous that always helps. good for you

No...I'm not the intimidating type. I sometimes feel my staff walks all over me....I should be more intimidating...but I think my staff likes it that I'm not. My boss is defiantly not intimidated by me...we've worked together for about 15 years. She can be a little hard on me...but it's for the right reasons and we get along pretty well.

Yes.
I've had a few , that actually seemed intimidated by everyone under them. They werent effective bosses, as they werent sure of their abilities, and came across as insecure.
I tried my best to do a great job for anyone I've worked with or worked for. Sometimes the better the job, and efforts put forward, seems to make others feel you want to outshine them.and make them look bad.
So I found if I had bosses that were intimidated by my efforts or personality, they'd eventually can me. and look for someone opposite of my efforts or personality.
I also found that everytime I've been praised by doing a good job and catching on so fast. I get fired a few days later. So I really dont want compliments about my work, Just want to do my work quietly without causing anyone to be bothered by me.

Yes, he was very passive-aggressive, it started because I was fed up with him not taking care of a colleague who was a BIG slacker and I raised my voice a bit, and since that he would steer clear from me if he thought I was in a bad mood. He never stood up for any of us when upper management was unfair
