Does anyone know if a 15.4 inch WXGA TFT wide viewing angle (1280 x 800) display used in the HP Compaq Presario R3000 is compatible and will fit in the C500?

I have found two screens at ScreenTek for $295 plus shipping. I have given you the link for them.
I have also given you a link to the Service Manual for your laptop. (There are three types of models of the C500, if I linked the wrong model, go though and see if they have the proper model listed.

Check this link and see if the part numbers are the same for the two models.....or call the toll free number and ask if they are interchangable?

The only think you can do is call HP/Compaq and buy a new one.
