hi, as the pregnancy progresses the uterus starts to exert pressure on the urinary bladder when it expands and hence the constatnt urge to urinate.
but you have to watch out for whether there is burning during urination or is it smelly if yes then there could be urinary tratc infection.
the best way out is to drink lots of water keep peeing to avoid stagnation of urine and hence the infection.
try drinking coconut water it helps to urinate.
take care.

Very normal and will only get worse. The baby is probably sitting on your bladder which always make you feel like you have to go. As you get further along the baby will increase in weight and make the urges more often. When I was pregnant if I sneezed I would pee a little bit on myself. This even happened if I coughed or laughed too hard also. Closer to the end I actually laughed so hard that I did pee on myself, fortunatley I was at home. This is very common though and I wouldn't worry about it. Good Luck

Yes. It is. I'm 29 weeks and I'm still having that problem. Since the beginning of my pregnancy I've had the constant peeing. It went away for about 3 weeks and then came back.

Absolutely normal. Your baby is pretty much right on top of your bladder now, so there is constant pressure and a LOT of trips to the bathroom. My mom told me once, when I was late in my first pregnancy and complaining about having to get up six times a night to use the bathroom, that it was just nature's way of preparing new moms to be up at night with a newborn. Congratulations and best wishes.

Hey,
From 20 weeks i have been peeing constantly!!!!!!!! Its so annoying but there is nothing we can do about it.
When i asked my dr he just said that my baby was in the head down position all ready and is putting pressure on my bladder. I asked if this was ok and he said it is unusual but not unheard of. It just means i have to pee every 5 minutes!!!
And i hate going places coz i get up and pee so often!!!!
Only 6 more days left for me though..................
Good luck and take care.

You need to define "constantly". If it's every hour or so, it's probably normal. There was one month early in my third trimester where I got up every hour at night to pee. But if you feel like you have to pee immediately after going to the bathroom, it may be a urinary tract infection, or something else that isn't normal. If that's the case, time to see the doctor.

Just wait until you hit the last few weeks!! You will feel like you are married to the toilet!!!lol Baby is pressing on your bladder and making you run for the toilet! I swore up and down that all 3 of my kids did it on purpose!! You will soon learn which public restrooms are clean and which to avoid (keep this in mind when it comes time for potty training that baby)...and you will even switch your shopping habits accordingly!! Good luck and Congrats!!!

I'm 25 weeks tomorrow and I also have to pee constantly. I also have a fibroid tumor which I think can cause me to want to pee more. Have you had an ultrasound yet? Its not so much that I have to pee its just that I feel I have to pee all the time.

Cloudy urine usually means UTI. I had one for like 4 months and my OBGYN didn't even detect it. I ended up having to go to a urologist and they gave me antibiotics and everything is ok. But you should get checked asap because UTI can cause preterm labor if it is not treated.
