I'm not a big western guy really, but I have to admit that "The Searchers" starring John Wayne is a masterpiece of the genre. Sam Peckinpaw's "The Wild Bunch" is also very watchable. And who can't sit down and watch at least a good portion of "The Magnificent Seven" when it's on tv?
okay...I guess I like them more than I thought!

Anything by Sergio Leonie, 'Once upon a time in the West' there is a scene where Henry Fonda is sitting on a seat at a train station and `a Fly lands on his face and hes trying to gt it off without his hand and the fly keeps coming back and they left it in the movie and didnt cut it out the scene lasts about four minutes but Serge thought he wouldnt chop it. But that is a great bit of film, Natural as you couldnt train the fly. as it crawls around his face.
