it was a tragedy that shouldn't have happened. This Giant fan sends his condolences to the Redskin fans as well as Sean Taylor's family & friends.

I agree. Children dying in Africa is a horrible tragedy that could be stopped if people weren't so selfish & thinking only of themselves.

Excuse me but regular folks deaths mean alot to me too. I'm not some star struck person who only cares when a star or athlete dies. All deaths whether a regular person or not is tragic & sad.

From a Browns Fan....where's all the good sportsmanship...there is a lot of negativity here if someone does show true sorrow. A lot of us are good decent caring people...true... the world is full of sadness n suffering these days...the whole world is full of it, bring back the caring for all others...nobody is perfect...show a little human compassion here....heartfelt prayers for Sean Taylor's family, friends n the Redskins organization for such a tragic death. If it was a family member of yours or a friend....think about how you would feel....start caring not mud slinging..

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Sean Taylor.
My family and I are HUGE REDSKINS FANS. My husband is in Iraq and when I talk to him next I have to tell him. Sean Taylor was his favorite.

Such a sad time....

Thanks for the nice question

Sad that you have completely forgotten about all the other people in Miami or elsewhere for that matter who get shot, hurt or injured. It takes some two bit football star for you to feel sad? How about the 6 year old who is playing and get hit by a stray bullet? How come the media doesn't play that up as much. We all care about the WRONG things. This is a guy who has been in and out of trouble and although his death is bad, what about all the other people who suffer from the same thing? Its not the same because they aren't on our TV once a week?

It's amazing how many cruel statements are being posted here regarding the death of Sean Taylor. I hope these people who posted those negative comments do not have someone they love die tragically and then someone making a rude remark about that person's death. Some people on YA are so mean and nasty and ignorant!

RIP Sean Taylor

when you hear about guys going out to clubs, getting in fights and getting shot, it's a different type of tragedy. This was a horrible tragedy because he was home, and was killed at home doing nothing.

we have to remember that things like this happen everyday, and we don't flinch or care to hear about it. but since it is a football player, its the greatest tragedy. it's like when that football player was killed in Iraq. sure, but lets see the NFL tip their hats off to all the soldiers, and not just one who happened to be a player.

It is a shock that such a young and talented player fro the U had to die. I watched him the whole time he was at Miami. Now maybe something can be done with all these athletes being tied up or shot in their own homes, but yet they shouldn't own guns in fear of being suspended. How do you chose your lively hood or your life?

I'm in shock. I am a Redskins fan, and I feel as though a friend died. I'm just sick about it. Not even safe in your own home. And they'll never catch the murderers.
