My husband wants me to tell him what I want. I really dont want anything in particular, does anyone have any suggestions?
Nothing dirty, ok? I am looking for suggestions that would be ok for me to unwrap in front of the family.

Thanks, the suggestions so far are pretty good. Except a few of them - you know who you are...
We can't go away, we have three kids and no vacation time - We just went to Disney.
Him asking me what I want doesn't bother me, because that is what his family did all his life. Birthdays and Christmas, etc...

A fabulous designer purse... like a Gucci. (see Neiman Marcus online). You will get to use it every day, it will make every outfit you wear tres chic even if you are just wearing jeans, and it will be an heirloom piece to pass on to your daughter (vintage cool). Or at the very least jewelry. Definitely sterling or gold, cuz diamonds are a girls best friend!

Tell him that what you would really like is a weekend away with him. Doesn't have to be expensive...maybe to Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, San Diego..something like that. Just the two of you without family around. Sounds like a great gift to me!

Yeah, I have a real issue with a man who isn't thoughtful enough to think of something I'd like. Especially when obviously you don't want anything in particular. Its really a thoughtless gift if you have to tell him what to go a buy for you.

Tell him to make you a DVD of the two of you--like pics of you in the background a sweet love song. I'm sure the whole family would enjoy that.
And maybe a nice necklace.
