All animals can be stubborn, just depends on their personality. But, generally speaking, besides humans, I've always thought that mules and bulls were the most stubborn.

HUMANS...
dont say donkey - I own a donkey and they are not stubborn - they are extremely intelligent... I could tell a story here but its too long and I dont feel like typing it out.. anyhow you will have to take my word donkeys are NOT stubborn - this is lable people have put on them who are not smart enough to know how to work with them...
in truth they are smart they like to look at things and figure out if its safe or not.. they DO NOT like being forced.. however food bribes work well..
if you have a donkey and are in danger - a donkey will save your life - they are that smart...

As a pet, its difficult to train a cat because it is a moody animal. It learns according to its mood. You cannot force it to perform tricks as per your beckoning.
