No one can truly answer this question. Karma could be an answer, but that is only if you believe in Karma. A black cloud over your head, bad luck, bad past life, whatever it is you believe that may be the answer. I cannot honestly answer this question. I would love to find out for I know all about having bad things happen to me (more often than not) and I am a decent to good person.

Bad things happening to good people is very unfortunate. I agree with (almost) everyone on here who answered this question.

It will even itself out in the end. Remember that you only hear about the bad thing done by the bad people, you never hear about their life after.

A drug addicted thief may rob someone who is good but for the rest of their addictive life, they will live through their own personal hell. They are not courageous enough to tell anyone though because it's easier to be bad than good. Their self pity will destroy them while the good person has a clear conscious.

I'm a good person and always try to be nice to everyone but that's not enough. There will always be jealous and mean people trying to put you down and hurt you. I don't let those bad things get to me though. Right now I have a hard time trusting others. I can't even trust my family but I don't need them in my life anyways. There seems to be some people who always want to ruin others lives.

There are certain lessons in life that people must learn! It is not about bad things happening to good people, bad things happen to everyone good people or bad people, I don't think the universe chooses only good people to teach lessons or
" have bad things happen to them " I just think we all need to learn lessons in life! Some people just take it too personally and think they are too good and don't need to learn that certain lesson!

Do you believe in...

Ive been trying to figure that out, all of my life. I dont understand it either. I have two sisters that have lived a terribly, nasty, crukid life...drugs alcohol, sex...you name it, theyve done it....but both of them fell into lots of money, and have it made. ME, on the other hand, have struggled all my life and have gone to church, lived a decent, giving, caring life, and I was the one who ended up with all the bad luck, and ended up sick. I dont get it.*

Faith and kely I know what you are talking about. The thing is Satan wants us to fall so he picks on the ones who are especially vulnerable. Because as Chrisitians we are taught to be nice to everyone even the ones that aren't nice to us. I'll pray for you. You pray for me. And I will pray for 360 too since he asked the question.

Bad things happen to all people. Perhaps people only notice when bad things happen to good people because good people are easier to feel sorry for.
