okay I'm gonna be 19 in a week and I just got hired at a strip club as a waitress. She, the lady that interviewed me, actually showed me around the club(it hasn't opened yet) and it's nice and she told me about the uniform(short shorts and a corset with fish net stockings, and I like the whole idea. I'm very attracted to anything sexual but it doesn't have to be physical. just looks and I like the idea of looking sexy and getting paid for it. (i'm far from ugly myself and actually working on modeling).i thought of taking the job because I've made tips wearing shorts working at a car wash before, and i was wondering if I'll make this kind of money when the club opens, also what is the enviroment like and the safety level usually.and do you think this will help in modeling.
p.s. I already told them I ain't strippin, cuz of my my self respect, but I see nothin wrong wit a girl lookin good and getting paid 4 it.
plez, no stupid reponses.and don't say get a job somewhere else.heard it

also I'm a flirty girl and friendly and loves talking to people and getting to know them, I got it honestly from both my mom and my dad. I do have a BF (love him dearly and am very commited to him.) who joind the marines and he never approves of me doing some things,(like getting my belly botton pierced) but then again he doesn't pay my bills either.

I personally findd that the opportunity to work at a strip club as a waitress, in the outfit you described is not bad at all! If you're pretty, flirty, charismatic and can make money without losing your self-respect I am all for it - I would do that, I qualify for it the only problem is the safety and security of the location - that is really the main concern in places like that so be careful and make sure it is not a shady place. Have fun, make some money!

I tip the waitress all the time, maybe too much when I'm drunk.
Even in the worst of neighborhoods, the safety of waitresses and strippers is a big deal. There's always security cameras, and bouncers normally at least watch the workers as they go to their cars. Don't get into any personal relationships with the patrons and you shoul be fine.

I think it seems fine. The bouncers are usually pretty serious about security. I'm not sure about the money though. I imagine it would be good, but, as one of the few women wearing clothes, you might not get the kind of tips the dancers do.
Funny story: my friend Adam ordered nachos once at a strip club. Under the black lights, it looked like salad. I remember laughing and wondering why anyone would order salad at a strip club. It also seemed weird that he was eating the salad with his fingers.

Sound's like you've made up your mind to do this, You will probably do well as it sound's like your very personable. You should do very well on tips.
My only advise would be to watch your back, men in strip clubs sometimes get the idea that everything, and everyone in their is touchable, and they somehow grow extra hands.
good luck, and make good friends with the bouncer.

Sounds like you already have your mind made up, and I'm not sure why you're asking the online world for approval?
If this is what you want, go for it! As long as you know the risks, dangers, and difficulties that come along with this job, then you are free to make this decision on your own.
Risks: You risk sassy-*** old men hassling you, ***-ugly DIRTY men giving you a hard time, and you risk your body parts being handled.
Dangers: Drunk, ***-ugly men are worse than plain ***-ugly men, and they do pose a threat, but if you're confident in your club's protection and bouncers you should be safe.
Difficulties: No one LIKES waitressing forever, but it does pay the bills! Difficult customers will come no matter where you work, so just remember WHERE you work, and handle yourself like a hard-*** so no one gives you a hard time and you should be fine.
I would caution you in your relationship with your Marine-boy, if he doesn't approve, maybe this is something you need to talk about soon. Best of luck, and I hope your modeling career takes off soon so you can stop working crappy side-jobs.

just be careful because there tends to be a bit more drug use at these clubs, and we're not just talking about pot.

I am always perplexed at the fact girls will go to the beach almost completely exposed, but shudder at the thought os wearing stockings and garters, even though you are probably more covered up than a 50"s bathing suit.
If you are not afraid of going around the beach half naked, whats wrong with some stockings and garters? Put it in perspective girl, there is very little skin showing.

As long as you arenot doing it for the wrong reasons (boyfriend forcing you to work there, self respect thinks this is the only job you can get, etc) then there is nothing wrong with it. Get the rules up front, check with the local laws about customer interraction and be aware of what is going on around you in the club.
My daughter was a stripper for a few years. She loved it and was in great shape, both physically and mentally. She had (and still has) a great self image and stripping was not a bad thing for her to do at the time. If you're going to work around these other ladies who DO Strip, then you should also change your opinion of the types of women that strip for a living and their reasons for doing so. Looking down at them for their job will not make it easy for you to be around them or visa versa.
I say take the job.
