I do not see an end to terrorism! As long as we have hatred we will have terrorism*
Terrorism is an attempt by a few to scare the many by committing random acts of violence against them. It does not seem to be motivated by personal material gain, as the terrorists themselves often wind up dead because of the terrorist act itself. Therefore material appeasement of the terrorist is impossible!

Terrorism is a tactic that individuals used to win there independence. And no, the conservatives do no longer probable advise what they are asserting with the aid of fact the only ingredient they care approximately is capability. they're so egocentric that they do no longer even conceal their tracks properly. So whilst the time comes that they might no longer purchase the election via arising a willie Horton advert or a speedy boat packed with hit adult males, then they are going to be disillusioned. the rest is an act, a bad play, a salesperson's dream, slightly sell out that has became into an entire blown fraudulent criminal habit, which contains payoffs, strip golf equipment, loose booze, call ladies, and a variety of of alternative hats packed with loose money alongside with diamond jewelry for the girls. it won't final with the aid of fact slime gets so deep in rises up the drowns the participates.

Eventually government may be able to stop terrorism (almost entirely, but perhaps never in entirely!) New cameras with face recognition are coming out, new trash cans which stop bombs from doing damage when dropped in them, and automated defense robots will all work towards this goal, sadly, this gives a lot of power to the government, which I guess can be looked at as a terrorist group itself.. so I guess it never ends?

There is no one solution that will work. All we can do as people is work to build peace. Our governments must work together to fight terror in all it's forms, including following the source of money that funds terrorism.

And if any governments hide and protect and/or fund terrorism, then we should treat them as if they declared war on us and make the penalty so severe that no one will help terrorists ever even if they are sympathetic to their cause.

Its the carrot stick policy... reward islamic countries that improve the lives of their citizens and help discorage radical elements. At the same time, eradicate the terrorists were ever they are.

Iraq is on the way to success... Pakistan is in dire need of our attention. An ounce of prevention there will equal a ton of the cure.

Pat shepard makes a great point and I should clearify: Once Someone is a terrorist, Monitary rewards are nothing. Terrorists are indoctrinated and if we can reward the countries that crack down on indoctrination in any way, than that is a big help. At the same time, kill terrorists when and wherever you can.

Even Bush, who has profited enormously from the "war on terrorism", has admitted it can never be won.

Interview with Matt Lauer, Sept. 2, 2004:

Lauer: You said to me a second ago, one of the things you'll lay out in your vision for the next four years is how to go about winning the war on terror. That phrase strikes me a little bit. Do you really think we can win this war on terror in the next four years?

President Bush: I have never said we can win it in four years.

Lauer: So I’m just saying can we win it? Do you see that?

President Bush: I don’t think you can win it. But I think you can create conditions so that those who use terror as a tool are less acceptable in parts of the world — let's put it that way.

Terrorism, it seems to me, is an unwanted byproduct of a free society. Forms of terrorism have existed thoughout history, and, I fear will exist as for long as the human race. All we as individuals and governments can do is try our best to protect ourselves.

wow, you look great with your little santa hat on :)

As long as there are christians and muslims there will be wars. Terrorism is a by product of war. Muslims view christians as infidels and zionist pigs. Corrupt governments help to create terrorism, look at the philippines. They blew up that one corrupt politician a couple weeks ago. hehehehe.

I watched this john malkovich movie last weekend, the name is eluding me, but there were alot of terrorist hits in that movie. Good movie.
