They're certainly not talking about it as much as they should, but all the Democratic candidates have plans to deal with global warming.

And even the Republicans have all come out saying that we need to deal with the issue (except Thompson who's sitting on the fence, and Paul who hardly counts).
To be honest I don't know why they're not discussing it more. Probably because the Democrats all essentially agree on the issue, so perhaps they're saving it for the general election where they can show a policy difference with their Republican opponent.

Whats the use of talking about global warming ?
People would then expect the government to be able to do something about it.
And the government can do nothing about global warming.
Think about it, the largest contributor of green house gas's, is fossil fuel power plants.
The only viable replacement for fossil fuel power plants, are nuclear power plants.
Except the people who think global warming is the biggest problem, are against nuclear power.
Doesn't make sense does it.
They bring up a problem, find the cause, then are against the only fix, for that cause.

Actually they are. Mostly Democrats and they talk environment mostly but its all the same thing. Republicans will acknowledge global warming however won't make it a big issues because most people planning to vote Republican don't consider the environment a big enough issue.

The same reason they aren't talking about aliens....oops, except Kucinich. Since there is no proof of man made global warming, and the evidence is pointing strongly to the side that it is a natural cycle, they are leaving that to alarmists and their leader, Al Gore.
