yes just endorse the back and they can cash it just like a check!!!

sorta, yes.

all they'll be able to do with it is deposit it in their bank and be responsible to their bank if it should come back weeks or months later as forged. Or try to cash it, with your presence and ID, at the bank it is drawn (written) on.

were I that person, I'd give you cash for it in about 6 months, just to be safe, unless we're at the bank it is drawn on and we receive cash now. [which is kinda pointless unless you're a child with no ID and the other person is your parent.]

if it never had any other name on it then yes but if its a money order say to dte and you decided you need the money more then paying the bill but if you already made it out to dte go back to store where purchased with reciet and stub and explain u need cash that money order back in for cash
