I don't know what I'm leaving him this year, but when I was young my dad would tell me what kind of sandwich Santa would like on Christmas Eve - usually bologna and cheese with mustard and a pickle! - and, ALWAYS, a bottle of beer! It took me quite a while to catch on - in fact, I still kinda do believe in Santa!

cookies,wandies.hot chocolate,or i'll leave out a shot glass with my bottle of chamborde.
the reindeer will get a bag of carrots and a pail of water.it's tradition at my house every year even if my children don't believe.i do.
