Hey there, i've been looking for more story-oriented and story-driven games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Final Fantasy 7 / 10. Anyone have any suggestions?

Star Ocean - Till the End of Time. It's an action RPG for the PS2. It has a really deep and engrossing storyline. I think you'll enjoy it, I know I did. It was so hard to stop playing, because I always wanted to see what was going to happen next. I hadn't felt like that about a game since Final Fantasy X. Dragon Quest 8 has a decent story, too. It's a turn-based RPG for the PS2. Both of these games are made by Square-Enix, the company that makes the Final Fantasy series.

half life 2 + episodes 1&2 and The Witcher both have very mature, gritty storylines, which seem to be very out of place the past few years. HL2 details a man trying to save the earth from an alien race he unleashed, and the witcher has a story that echoes of the real world conflicts happening right now in a very gritty fantasy setting.

Half Life 2 has a good story, and two add-ons with good stories.

in case you like third guy or woman shooters why do no longer you attempt the Gears of conflict trilogy. All 3 video games have great tale-strains and the third gears recreation has a 8-10 hour long marketing campaign.(provide or take an hour or 2 reckoning on how briskly you flow)

if you like really story heavy games go with Assassin's Creed. If you have HDTV and an xbox 360 prepare to be amazed.
