over what sea does Beowulf sail to reach Denmark?

So I know he is coming fro geatland and is traveling to denmark but what sea is that? is it the Baltic sea the North Sea? I'm writing a paper...

it's the Baltic Sea, yeh. Geatland was in southern Sweden. Beowulf is nor quite an English story, though the only manuscript extant was written in England. the story takes place before the Anglo-Saxons came to England.

Since Beowulf is a British story, your map is correct, the North Sea and the Baltic.
