the time to sell, imho, is past already.

what you're playing for now is

a) the company is financially viable in the long run and will recover, or

b) it will be sold/merged at a premium to some other banking firm, likely foreign, that wants their deposit business.

I agree, the time to sell is obviously not now. Don't know how long you've had the shares, what they're worth, or how much they have increased/decreased in value...but hang on to them as a long-term investment.

The stock market is something to be played over long periods of time. It most always works in your favor if you're patient.

Sell them and buy EWZ ishares from Brazil
