Patience is good, although most frequent users end up adopting an apathetic resignation to such problems!

Patience is the best thing - but getting angry releases the tension. Keep a stress ball by your computer to avoid demolition!!! hehe.

No. Getting angry never fixes anything.

Stop. Take a deep breath and ask yourself:

Have I defragged my hard drive this week?

Have I checked my Anti-virus to be up to date and done a manual scan this week?

Have I run an updated anti spyware remover this week?

Have I checked my hard drive to make sure it is not more than 2/3rds full?

If you answered no to any of these questions, you need to address them.

Also: If your computer does not have enough RAM, you will need to upgrade.

my comp did that once, so i went and bought a new one, as time went on it got slower too. i think its down to all the software updating and your computer being the same as before, just accept it. normally if my comp does it now, i got get my self a drink or go do sumint for a couple of mins. when you come bk. its where you want it to be. i find if you sit there and watch it. it seems to take longer than it actually does. x

not one bit, but it feels good dont it, I shout and even thump mine, it dont help but makes me feel better after.

if you are calm and leave it to patience it still takes for ever but seems even longer, where as by going balastic time flys much quicker.

and its better to take it out on a pc than a person is it not

You can get as angry as you want, but it is not going to make it go any faster. You could perhaps end up with an ulcer though.
