Absolutely not, if your getting a interview with a professional job like a teacher, law enforcement job, secretary etc. That is about the worse thing you can do. Now that is a different story if your going to work at a bar or something like that. You could be well qualified for a job and when you come in for the interview that will make it look bad on you.

No business and pleasure do not mix.
Although perhaps it depends on which job you are being interviewed for. Example -- if you were after a job at Victoria's Secret where boobs are definitely a required asset then a smile, a laugh and lots of cleavage would not come amiss. But.... if you were being interviewed for a job as Gordon Brown's political strategist where boobs come naturally then they wouldn't be necessary because there is already an abundance of them

If you are applying for a post in a bar or club or some PR stuff, maybe it'd work to your advantage. However, if you are applying for a more serious job, laughing a lot and showing some skin might be misunderstood. The interviewer might have the impression that you're dumb and that the only asset you could show off is your cleavage. So guess, it really depends on what post you're applying for.

Some people think showing a lot of cleavage in a job interview is appropriate only if the job requires a lot of cleavage.

The only time I ever did was for my job interview at Hooters... but I only showed a LITTLE. Other than that, I wore a dress suit with a skirt, and my hair in a bun. Your chances of getting a job doing that are WAY MORE LIKELY. I've landed EVERY job I've applied for and have always gotten high marks and compliments on my personal appearance during the interview.

Because it was once viewed as unprofessional and really still is. Job interview edicate has always frowned on this. I guess it all depends on the type of job your interviewing for. Makes sense if you're trying to be a Hooters girl I guess, lol. Otherwise, you're probably getting the job for the wrong reasons if you know what I mean.

You do it a lot in interviews and always get the job?
Why so many interviews and so many jobs? Maybe the boobs just don't do that much for them once you are there and they expect you to work?
I have gotten every job I've ever interviewed for, except one. I don't show my cleavage (and I'm a D cup) when interviewing. Of course, I work in an office and make a nice salary. They want me to work and that's what I'm there to do. My girls are for my husband, not to hang out for all to see like I'm a hooker looking for a date.

It's quite evident from your foot note that your observation is based on your experience, which also indicates the number of jobs changed. So,cleavage display can only get such jobs and not a real serous one.Don't mind but be assured that selectors also know this approach and unless a candidate has more within him, cleavage alone wouldn't suffice,Anyway,if it works for you ,so be it.

If you want to get by by playing the sex object fine but that will only get you so far and it will only last for so long.
it is actually a bad idea to do that on a serious interview it is very unprofessional, unless of course your profession would involve the need for a lot of cleavage.
Try using your mind your education and your skills to get along dear. If you don't what will you do when the clevage goes south and saggy.

No, you should never show any cleavage in a job interview. The rule is always to never show either crack when working/interviewing.
