Depending on where you are located, it's probable that there is a complete set of channels (a multiplex or MUX) that you cannot receive at present. That's because until the analogue signal is finally switched off, some Freeview channels are being transmitted "out-of-band" so you would need a wide band aerial to receive them.

However, when the analogue signal is finally turned off, all the Freeview channels will be within the bandwidth of your normal aerial and the power of the digital signal will be increased.
