Sorry, but as a fellow Canadian I find Jim Carrey an embarassment. I don't think he's funny as he is always performing and acting the fool. He doesn't know when to turn it off. For me the faces he's always making are very annoying. Sorry, but that's my opinion. I know a lot of other Canadians that feel the same.

Jim Carrey is a nutter... exaggerator and not very funny. He has just had a lot of coverage and given opportunity. Nothing else. He is rubbish compared to the great Groucho Marx.

I think he's underrated as an actor as people only rate him on his slapstick element.
I think his 2 best films are Truman Show and Cable Guy, especially Cable Guy, but people forget what a good actor he is.

JC is often times embarrassingly stupid rather then funny. Now if you had suggested Robin Williams I would have agreed.
