they play a lot of rare stuff, live concerts, interviews, albums, etc.
What artist should they have next? (My next pick would be The Beatles).
Who could you listen to for 6 months 24/7 and not get bored after a week or so?

I think it's a horrible concept that should stop immediately. Sirius & XM each have five different classic rock stations to go with with these dedicated channels. I'm disgusted by the fact that we have to have a Grateful Dead channel yet heaven forbid you play a Mindless Self Indulgence song on the radio for that would destroy the bottom line. Why would anyone want to listen to a Jimmy Buffet channel? Hey, let's have a Front 242 channel! Seriously, I want variety and not have any one single artist shoved down my throat 24/7.

BC - Maybe we should start a lobby for one. :)

Holy Crap!! I did something similar right after I signed up three years ago and basically got the same form letter. It warms my heart to know how concerned they are with suggestions. I believe XM does devote some time to industrial on their Fungus channel but it's token at best.

This has been tried before. There was an all Led Zeppelin channel in south Florida during the 80s, but it didn't last very long. Their catalog is very limited, and I'd say at least half of it is definitely not radio friendly. This new channel will die just as quickly as the old one did.

I don't think they should have stations that focus on one particular band, at least not until all the main genres of music are covered.... which they aren't.

I'm still waiting on an industrial/goth station:

rckets - After you posted your question yesterday I emailed Sirius to see what their reason is for not having an industrial station. I got some generic response about how they strive to have a diverse music selection and that my feedback will be considered. Yeah right.
