The only chance I see is her seeing you as a nerd. I'm not saying you are, but given your description about here, that's probably how she sees half of the world population anyway
And another possibilities is you are gonna regret it few years down the road.

You absolutly stand a chance. My husband is a very shy and quiet engineer. I am a loud redhead. We balance each other very well. He was brave enough to ask for my number when most guys were too intimidated. Ask her out!
