Land without a doubt!

The Annapolis talks will go the same way as the Camp David talks with Bill Clinton.

The Israeli's don't want to give back the west bank and the Palestinians don't want to recognise Israel. Impasse!

The land they want is the land that has belonged to them since Biblical times. Wouldn't you be upset if someone settled on your property? Of course they want peace, but they want their land, also. One can only hope that there will be some sort of breakthrough at the Annapolis meetings.

Israel very much needs strategic depth. The Arabs are bent on destroying Israel, even if they learn to make the right sounds.

Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah is still a terror organization, and to prove it they murdered a 29-year-old Israeli civilian last week.

Israel wants peace, but they ought to be realistic enough to know that they will not achieve peace with the present generation of Arabs.

The PLO Charter has still not been revised, and it still calls for the destruction of Israel.

Sad, but that's the way things are.

no breakthrough..bush is on his way out...trying to get this done like clinton did before he left office..israel wants peace more than land but will not give up more land.

Peace..they proved it by giving up some land in the past..the problem is by doing so has only invited more land grabs or else attitudes by the Pals.
Of course with Hammas in a frnzy to eliminate Israel altogether doesn't help them as well.

Peace. That's what they've wanted from the start. Unfortunately, that desire didn't quite mesh with the Arabs desire to erase Israel from the map.

I think they want more Starbucks stores to be built. And McDonalds. But only if they have Starbucks in them.
