No...it is the hardest song to sing...I used to live in Little Italy in Baltimore where Francis Scott Key lived and wrote the Star Spangled Banner...
"The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States. The lyrics come from a poem written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key. Key, a 35-year-old amateur poet, wrote "Defence of Fort McHenry" after seeing the bombardment of Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Maryland by British ships in Chesapeake Bay during the War of 1812.

The poem was set to the tune of a popular British drinking song written by John Stafford Smith for the Anacreontic Society, a London social club. "The Anacreontic Song" was already popular in the United States and set to various lyrics. Set to Key's poem and renamed, "The Star-Spangled Banner" would soon become a well-known American patriotic song. With a range of one and a half octaves, it is known for being difficult to sing

I guess that means if your drunk it is easier to sing

heck no I hate singing in front of a audience. I always forget the words to the star spangled banner. I might just do a Rosanne Barr thing where I make up the words.

I can remember all the words, but I think it would take a little prodding to get me out there to sing at a baseball game. Mainly because I am a horrible singer.

Yes I would do it and I am pretty darn sure I could remember all the words, at least from the first part. They don't sing the entire song, do they? Just the first refrain. The second part messes up a lot of people.

Well I have danced in front of thousands of people so I don't think I would have a problem singing but I am not sure if people would want to hear me sing.

I think I could do it, well at least most of it I think... I'm pretty sure I know 90% at least.. that should be good enough hmm? Since most of the people listening would be so hypnotized by my lovely voice they wouldn't notice right?
