Laptop problems?

Question

recently everytime i start up my computer it says it cannot find the ac adapter i don't know why i have it plugged in and then if i just skip the message instead of going into the boot menu or the bios like it says i can , when the OS loads it says the ac adapter is not there and my computer will run slowly and will not charge . also the OS i am running is windows vista i thought i should let you know even though it probably don't make a difference. thanks

The AC power supply may have died.

Call tech support, it's still under warranty.
