See, I was contacted by an on-line astrologer asking me to pay 60 dollars before she can send me a comprehensive report about me. What do you think?

No, they aren't. this isn't unusual that she asked you for the money first. These types exploit millions of people.
The Bible states that no one knows the future but God. I would believe God over an astrologer any day.

In answering your first question. Astrologers ARE credible.
Those working online I have had no experience with but someone asking you out of the blue and before you even had a reading is not the way to go.

I have actually had a reading with an astrologer before now who came highly recommended with very impressive qualifications etc. One of the main differences is that I contacted them gave my birthdate etc and was extremely impressed with the outcome.

The problem is there are online astrologers and mediums who in SOME cases give a bad reputation for legitimate readers which is why many people are wary. If you want a compherensive report then it should be at your own discretion rather than someone practically thrusting it upon you.

Astrologers usually DO know what they are talking about. But I wouldn't trust some nobody online. Make sure they have good credibility or some sort of license and certificate.
