What I find interesting is that of the two news reports I read on Yahoo news, neither contained the words "muslim" or "Islam".
Yet...isn't it muslims that are rioting?

This really is a strange question but I will endeavour to answer it.
North Africans and other French citizens living in the Ghettos are rioting because they've been discriminated against socially, economically and religiously for more than 100 years. It may not only be be Muslims but Black Africans as well.
Anyways they're rioting because they feel the government wants to them stay in poverty and they're not providing jobs for the youth who live in the Nouveau Casbah de la France. Ca c'est un situation tres grave mais.... c'est la vie, especiaux dans la France.

I would imagine it's because Sarkozy told them they have adapt to the French culture, to include speaking France's national language of French. I can't tell you who Hillary would support.

I'm sure she'll support members of that faith who are American citizens.
