Here's a bit of fun to make you feel better about not liking turkey..

Be nice to your turkey this Christmas
Dont eat him, keep him alive
He could be your mate, and not on your plate
You could be friends for life

Don't worry about what other people think of your taste or lack thereof for the famous November bird. At my house, we only do TURKEY WINGS. Nobody likes the rest of the bird and so it would go to waste. Besides, I hate the idea of having turkey this-and-that for the next few weeks before CHristmas - and then you get to do the HAM the same way. You're not the only one. lol

I don't know how you can hate it, it's my favorite bird.

But there are plenty of other things to eat on Thanksgiving, don't feel like a freak!

It's understandable, it's a rather flavourless thing, bit stringy, prone to being quite dry. This is exactly why I like it however, as it'll take up the flavour of anything on top of it (especialy a really good christmas gravy mmmm) but don't feel strange you don't like it, have chicken, or lamb, or pork, or ham, or goose!!!

Nope, my husband can't stand turkey. So, when our family does Thanksgiving, we have a ham and a turkey.

I cook it every year and I can't stand it. I just nibble on it and fill up on side dishes and casseroles. My kids don't eat it either so maybe next year we'll just have PIZZA! LOL
I'd rather cook a nice beef tenderloin! They don't eat that either but pizza as an appetizer could work?! our guest ate it all so I don't have to worry about leftovers! :D YEAH!

Not at all. I loathe the stuff. I take a small piece to make my mom happy. But I usually just fill up on the sides!
