I heard the term being used in the football factory a few times and as a a glaswegian i have no idea what it means!

In Cockney slang, a brass is a "tart" - i.e. a woman of ill repute ! ! !

This comes from cockney rhyming slang.
Brass = Brass Hat = prat.
A derogatory term for a prostitute.
Another term often used is Tom = Tom Cat.
