did danny trejo commit any bad crimes before becoming an actor or was it just petty stuff? i was under the impression he spent time in san quienten which is for bad criminals isnt it? but all i can seem to find is petty crime on google

From what I understand, the great Mr. Trejo spent time inside for gang-related offenses. During an interview, he was asked which jail he spent time in, he answered pretty much all of them. He probably did time at San Quentin, maybe Folsom. The important thing to remember is that he is out now, and spends his time helping other ex-cons deal with their drug problems. All in all, he is a changed person and I admire him for this. Helluva an actor, too.
