The guy has a rap sheet a mile long. I personally think that his bad choices in life are what led up to him being shot and not some "random" robbery.

Thugs often die violently. This guy was destined too. He has a history of getting into trouble, works in DC and decides to buy a house in the drug captial of the US??? Someone should have talked this powder keg out of living in a box of matches. A nice home in Charlottesville and all he'd be looking at probably is some dog fighting charges.

Sean Taylor entered the league like most other young superstars do. With a chip on their shoulder. It's true Sean Taylor has had his problems in the past, but what was the last thing you can remember he was in trouble for? A late hit? He's out there playing a game, and putting his all into every play. The man was an athlete and quite a good one. I'm just sorry he had to leave his little girl behind. Our thought should be going to his family, not to if he was a bad guy or not.

Look, no one really knows what the circumstances of this shooting were yet, but your bashing the dead is really classless. You're not "telling it like it is" you're being an azz.
Taylor had a lot of issues and some bad behavior and bad decisions................just like a lot of 22 & 23 year olds do. Reports are that he had cleaned up his act a lot since the birth of his child. Sadly, Taylor will never have the opportunity to rebuild his image and grow up into the matured person people would want him to be. Most of us make some mistakes at that young age, but we have a chance to outgrow them. He won't get that chance and you blaming him for his own death without any facts is pretty shameful. When all is said and done, there may be a lot more to this story..............but we don't know anything now, and there is certainly no evidence at this point to indicate that he did anything to cause his own demise!

I didn't know the guy personally, so I can't say whether he was or not. He had a checkered past, but people change. What I do know is that the day a guy dies is not the day to bad mouth him. Have some class. You give Mountaineer fans a bad name.
