Most come with a relief valve so the atomic bomb going off in your basement or backroom is slim. Give hubby credit, at least he didn't jump on the "I can't, I don't want to" list

Whoa. I'm single and own a house and asked my brother-in-law to help me fix the bathtub/shower. He came in put some glue on it and then put some nails along the side. Well, the nails are rusted and look like crap. I don't want to complain because it was done for free :) I would call the local electric/gas provider and ask them if they can run out and make sure there's no leaks anyone.

grab the kids and pets and run!!!!
like boomrat said, they come with a pressure release valve. so instead of blowing up it will gush hot water all over your basement floor.
lol. sorry, couldn't help myself.

If he doesn't know what he is doing then I'd say pretty good.
If he does know what he is doing then don't worry!!!
Have a little confidence in him until proven otherwise. = )
