Correction, Recession, or Depression? Why?

Regardless of the data, the economy has flat lined since May of this year. It was a house of cards built up on mortgage securities. It isn't a good thing, in my opinion, to have an economy based solely on a single industry, housing.

No one can predict the future. The left wing liberals in Congress and their cohorts in the main stream media are promoting recession. They would like to use it as ammunition for the next presidential election.
Finance and investment experts who appear on TV are already drooling over buying possibilities.

The economy is expected to slow down and nearly flat-line... However, if the Fed should continue to lower rates then we will only be experiencing a correction.
