The US should have a labor party.

Getting a new party won't accomplish anything, as most people won't support a candidate that is not Dem or Rep - people cannot think outside the box. Labor party is pretty much the same as Democrat party. As a country we need to stop worrying about "Party" and start looking at "Substance". Best candidate for the job, not best out of my party. Our country is weakened by party affiliation and mindless following of Labor unions and organization who tell their members which candidates to vote for by endorsing the candidate who takes their lobby money...Labor party would be the same.

ABSOLUTELY! Workers in the United States are totally without representation. Twenty years ago Democrats represented workers, but they don't today.

The idea seems to scare Republicans. I wonder why?
