The reason I don't think it is him is because he listed one of his hobbies as socialising. It will be a while before Ian Huntley is able to do that.

I would if I was writing a book on child murderer's but I wouldn't go as far as "befriending" them.

I wouldn't be, but there are a lot of people who would.
look at the prisoners on Death Row etc.
who get married to women they never met before they went into jail.

That's a really interesting 'q', and my take on the matter is:
If it could be of some broader benefit to society, in that we are potentially able to establish broader facts as to why people commit such attrocities to their fellow human beings, then i think that is a positive start, as opposed to just locking them up in melting pots of 'criminal learning'.
Furthermore although murder is a dispicable crime, i truely believe that people commit this crime for a whole host of different reasons, so who is one individual to judge the next.

I am not that desperate for a friend.
May they rot in prison or hopefully the other prisoners will find out & they will have the same fate as their victim!!

yes! because i would like to know what their thinking and why they would murder such a person. i would want to understand their desire. and who knows they probably are talented good people
