Proof of birth can be through Voter's I.D. Card, Driving License, Passport, I.T.Pan Card or in your case apply for a duplicate birth certificate from the Municipality where you where born or apply for duplicate S.S.C. board certificate from C.B.S.C. or duplicate T.C. of college. Proof of age is definitely necessary for both the purpose of marriage as well for its registration. Secondly it is always good to apply & get marriage registered in the State where it was preformed. However if the Marriage Registrar in Bangalore has no problem in registering this marriage then go ahead get the marriage registered here. If this was a Hindu Marriage then it can be registered under section 8 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 & even under the Special Marriage Act, 1954.

you couldn't have legally got married without your birth certificate but if you got a marriage certificate you will need to contact the original place for a duplicate one.
