Doncha just love how the sycophants post crap about Clinton without even READING the link, or without their posts even RELATING to the point you're making???

Pssst! Hey guys! What President Clinton did was normal, regular operating procedure for an incoming administration.

What BUSH did was political punishment.

READ the damn Wiki article.

(P.S. Notice how the dismissed Attorneys had BEEN APPOINTED BY BUSH? And they were dismissed AFTER THEY SERVED ALREADY YEARS INTO THE BUSH TERM????)

Idiots.

Here is one of Bush's greatest mistakes that he won't own up to.
Generally, upon taking office, a President fires every appointed position he can, and brings in people loyal to him, rather than rely on the opposition party's plants.

This includes the FBI, CIA, and any other intelligence agencies. Bush didn't do that, under the guise of trying to maintain "continuity" of operations. Big mistake for him politically. As far as foreign intelligence, it was a big mistake for the country in general.

He was way too idealistic. Washington politics are lethal. Perhaps he didn't understand this.

I can't remember, I also can't remember the last time the chairman of a VICE presidential search committee named himself as the best candidate, or the last time such an incompetent, dishonest moron was elected to a second term, or the last time someone in the president's administration commit ed treason (outing a CIA operative) and got away with it scott free, or the last time an elective war was waged and then privatized allowing plundering corporations to reap huge profits, or the last time ...................................damn memory problems!

The previous US president did that. Not a lot of credibility can be attached to a wiki posting, as anybody can contribute without being a subject matter expert.
