George MacDonald Fraser's "Flashman" novels, a novel by Robert Silverberg called "Lord of Darkness", "The Lord of the Rings" and Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath" are my favorite novels. I am currently re-reading "Flashman's Lady" by Mr. Fraser.
