Exhaustion can be a big factor in early labor, especially in first time moms. Many women will exert too much energy walking and timing contractions, and they aren't rested up for the hard work ahead.

what about feeling nauseas/sick and lack of support (from birth/support partners or medical care givers ie; doctors and nurses)
don't know if that is what you are looking for but i can come up with heaps more 'problems' for the second stage of labour!
