Briefly . Stopped in street. asked to change suppliers for gas and electric. Said ok. ... got home changed mind. rang to cancel. 3 months later found out being charged by 2 companies for one lot of gas and electric. long story. furious. Will you tell me that the next time you are stopped by someone while shopping to agree to anything will you please run a mile. ( That is if you don`t already do so.) Please.

that exact same thing happened to me, i got stung by EDF energy for £191 last week when I've been with British gas for a year! i did the same thing as you, i said i would change then i decided to cancel straight away. by the time it got sorted it had already went through to the debt collection agency, the b@st@rds
