i just bought a ATI radeon 2600XT and i want to return it cuz its not what i expected it to be. But the problem is that i already opened it and i read there return policy about only exchanging it if you already opened it. I was wondering if theres a way around it or if anyone experienced returning an open video card.

Does the exchange policy allow you to exchange the video card fr a different model? I can't see why you wouldn't like it. ATI cards are usually cheaper the performance is still great. Its cheaper if you get the off brand ATI's though like HIS and saphire. If your motherboard supports it you could get anotherone and hook them together with Crossfire.

Most companies will only let you return hardware and exchange it for the exactly what you have, because they are not allowed to put the returned merchandise on the floor to be sold again. Talk to CompUSA and say you bought the wrong card, perhaps they will give you store credit.
