I have but one thing this a.m. - the sadness concerning the death of Sean Taylor of the Redskins Football Team who was shot two days ago by an intruder in his home in Florida.

This young man had just experienced the birth of his daughter not long ago and had a great career ahead of him..he was only in his late 20's and it just is SUCH a waste of life!

Music has always been a favourite with me since I received my first record player. In my view, I have considered music as timeless and pick and choose what I like to hear and when I am in the mood to hear it. What I find annoying is when others label someone as "stuck" in a certain time period because of music "they" choose to listen to. Last time I checked, we still have freedom of choice (in most things anyway). Thankyou for allowing me to vent!

Gas prices! I drive about 50 miles a day. The prices are killing me! Oh, and husbands who want me to drive half of a two hour trip and then proceed to tell me how fast to go, what lane to be in, how close I should get to the car in front of me, on and on and one. But should I say anything when he's driving? Ha! Thank you for listening.

I agree with MISTER ED. These people that dig back into old QA's and report them, then block you from answering them and block their e-mails. Even pasting your posts, that's not right!!! Now, if this is read by the chicken **** all the thumbs down will start and she has 7 accounts that I know of!!! Anybody with that kind of stamina is able to work, but, oh no she's a "DISABLED SENIOR" and loves and wears that title like a crown!!!!

I vote, so I can elect officials who I think will represent my best interests, but once they get in office, they are all alike. The property taxes still have me in an uproar.I have been to the state capital on this one. We should be taxed on our home's value not where we live. And, where does all the gambling money go besides schools and roads? And, if it goes to roads, why are the roads so bad? Thanks for listening!

I hate when people put an apostrophe on a simple plural. It makes me insane with frustration, not to mention annoyed at the teachers who don't teach basic grammar and spelling any more. It's very simple: One cat. Two cats. No apostrophe necessary. Don't get me started on computer shortspeak, either. ("wat," "dat," "u," and most appalling of all, "wiv.") Yes, there are larger problems in the world, but we are witnessing the disintegration of the English language right before our eyes.
Thank you for listening to my pet peeve.

Not a rant just curious. Many of us in Seniors have lost the orange bar that says top contributor--wonder where it went?? I was amazed when it appeared now I am curious as to why it went away.

Born in the USA said it all. People like that need to move on and go somewhere and antagonize someone else.

I have nothing to complain about, maybe another time.

*Born in the USA.....I'm not real sure who you're referring to but I agree with you, her actions are not right, especially when it comes to pasting other's posts. What goes around, comes around, if that's any consolation.
