and Gerry says , he thinks someone was in the appartment, when checked up. And he does nothing! Can somebody explain why?

Whats stranger is that you post this Q after it already has 20 times before.
Tanner thought she realised it was Madeleine in RESTROSPECT.
When Gerry checked on his babies & saw them fast asleep, he naturally didn't think twice. However, in RETROSPECT, after his Madeleine went missing he realised that for someone to have taken her, that someone must have been HIDING in the bedroom at the time he made his check.
How difficult is that to understand?

Oh this is all bull from the start, Tanners story could not be true as Gerry and who he was speaking to (cannot remember the guys name) would have seen the same thing.
Gerry only said this to cover his **** its all bull, they've told so many stories at thsi stage I would think they themselves are finding it hard to remember the truth.
Also the whole thing with the shutters being broken into was proved bull on the Channel 4 Dispatches program, the finger prints were not consistent with ones that would have been left if opened from the outside!
I think at this stage poor lil Maddie is gone and justice may never be done for her whatever the truth may be

Didn`t Gerry say the bedroom door was open when he checked the kids & hadn`t he gone to the bar straight from tennis? So how would he know how the door had been left by Kate.
Another thing, wouldn`t it have been easier to take the smaller girl?
Nothing adds up.
He didn`t think anyone was in the apartment, that was an afterthought to point suspicion away from himself. Just like all the other crap that comes out of their lying mouths.

They are saying this in hindsight! Tanner only saw the pyjamas - and besides why would she have any reason to think Madeleine was missing? All she saw was a man carrying a child and presumed it was his daughter asleep. She said she thought he was carrying her funny - but that was probably because she thought the child to be sleeping. Then when she found out Madeleine was missing it clicked. Now she knows what pyjamas Madeleine had on (she didn't at the time remember because she wasn't exactly living with them - and every time she checked Madeleine would be under the covers) she knows it was her because it was the same pyjamas!
As for Gerry he only says that that was the time the abductor most likely did it by hiding in the apartment then legging it - not that he thought it at the time!
So think things through first! In still stick with 'the McCanns brought it on themselves and that it wasn't Madeleine's fault' but we still need to find her!

I know what you are saying there has been so much gossip, theory as to what has happened it is unreal what is true is in another 6 months they will still be asking the same questions.

Do you understand the concept of thinking something in retrospect? At the time you thought nothing of it, but now, thinking back, you realise that it was significant. Mind, I guess nothing much significant happens to you, so this might all be a bit beyond your capacities.
