I honestly didn't even think of envy.
I thought of either richness, because of the color of money,
or vibrant or alive, because of the color of grass/trees/etc.

Green is the colour of Envy
and yet
It is Gods own colour, trees, grass, flowers, hills, everything in the 119 shades of green.

It's supposed to be envy, but I always tink of fresh, new shoots of grass when I see a bright, lively green -signifying life, I think. Olive green makes me think of a witty, worldly person, and deep green of a wise, pure person.

I find green calming too although traditionally associated with envy.

Most psychologists advice the children's room to be color green..the light green particulary.....why because of its calming effect, gives peace in the mind, and makes children quiet ,active,confident, fresh,natural, lovely,assertive, alive, vivacious, decent and cool...Try to color your room with red, even you not as a kid..this color is strong, it makes someone more aggressive, bad tempered, hyperactive, alarming,highly sensitive and lustful....but color green will just give the opposite effect..........not only for the kids but for young adults and adults as well...
