Right now you are just hormonal and it seems like a bigger disappointment than what it really. Just think about all the things you can do with your daughter -- look forward to dressing her up, playing dolls with her, fixing her hair. Go out the mall and start looking through some newborn outfits for girls!

Also, just remember how many people out there want children and never get a chance to have them, or parents that struggle because their children are born sick. Just be thankful that you're having a beautiful heathy baby!

I wanted a boy as well, and just found out a week ago that it was a girl. I was bummed for a whole...20 minutes. Now I'm soooo excited. I didn't do anything to make myself excited though. I just...was. Mostly because I knew she was going to be healthy and beautiful and perfect. After all this is your child. Boy or girl, you should be excited.

u should not have checked what it is???? now, dont feel bad, whatever it is there it is yours. girls are no way less than boys these days. girls will have more attachment and affection towards parents than boys. now, when u r pregnant this is right time to develop relation with yr baby. u must think positive, whatever u think now will reflect on your child. it is now in yr hand for not giving any feeling of rejection to yr baby in stomach. best of luck. if u start thinknig positive, i hope u will overcome the frustration and accept yr child after delivery.

If this is your first pregnancy, there is no need to be afraid as you still have lots of chances to be pregnant and have a boy. Even if you do get a girl, that would mean it is heaven's will that you have a baby girl, so do not be so unhappy.

Your first baby doesn't matter. The main thing is that the baby and mom stay healthy. Having a girl first means you will have a large family.

you should concentrate your effort in helping that baby become healthy instead of thinking about the sex of that baby,it is something to thank for, besides as long as that baby gets out of your womb healthy that should matter,

It's your baby. You should love her even though you'd like her to have a brother.
