There are only two telephone service provider in the UAE. Etisalat and du. The latter one is using the facilities of Etisalat so when it comes to technicalities... both of them are really the same.
The only difference between the two is the marketing approach and the quality of service and where you can really save more.

Etisalat has good service and by far better quality.
Du is struggling right now, if you think of getting Du try to cope with bad network and regular hung-ups until the network gets stabalized and the company matures.

for now, it's Etisalat cos Du is only one year old.
But after 2 years, I believe Du will be far better than Etisalat

I agree with Willie, there are only two choices, Etisalat and Du. Price and service is more or less the same..You can pick any of those =)
